- 5 / 5By DavidRed River is a prime ski area in New Mexico. Probably the most northern most in NM. Really fun mountain with a beer and food up top. The park has rails, boxes and jumps from beginner to pretty intermediate. Snow conditions change through out the day so that can vary. I grew up skiing and have always loved the sport. I have been to just about every resort in NM and CO, and I can tell you that there is absolutely NO better experience (especially for families or groups) than coming to the town of Red River and skiing at RRSA. Everything is convenient and first class.July 24, 2016
